M. Karathu, the latest MSL managerial casualties

There are just three league games left, but PAFA decided that they can't wait any more and 'rest' (a popular vocabulary in Malaysian football nowadays) the fan favourites and experienced coach M. Karathu for two weeks (don't ask me why its two weeks). The most probable reason would be due to the four defeats in a row. That also means Perak who was once third in the league are now sitting at 8th-placed in the table.

The first-team will be takeover by the assistant coach Abu Bakar Fadzim and will be in charge until the end of the season.

He joined the long list of many other MSL head coaches including B. Sathianathan, Bojan Hodak, George Boateng, Azraai Khor, Haji Abdul Rahman and Robert Alberts who have received a similar fate, getting rested, immediate termination or resigned from their respective teams.

P.S.- M. Karathu, B. Sathianathan, Bojan Hodak, George Boateng and Azraai Khor all are former Kelantan head coach.
